Mission Beach Girls Swimsuit Models

The term "Mission Beach Girls" has early roots that tie into the development of San Diego's beaches, namely Mission Beach.
In 1925 entreprenuer and local business tycoon John D. Spreckels set up "The Mission Beach Amusement Park" (now called "Belmont Park") and in addition to setting up rail service to the area from downtown via his train transportation business, he also hired a gentleman named Hal Roache to set up a swimsuit contest at the park for it's opening summer activities. By all accounts it was a popular event, even in 1925, but the term and the enviroment of Mission Beach has not changed and the same good vibes still flow stronly with the sounds of screaming parents and kids riding the rides and enjoying themselves in the same spot over 80 years later.
Mission Beach in itself is the ideal beach community. Being nothing more than a three mile strip of sand only about 2 blocks wide it runs down south from Pacific Beach with the Pacific Ocean on one side and all off Mission Bay with over 4,000 acres of sand and water to the other side. it is the ideal place to live for not only local but for thousands of students who attend the one of many local university and colleges around the city including San Diego State University, University of San Diego, University of California San Diego and many more junior colleges, trade schools and other educational outlets.
So needless to say with all of those people living and working in San Diego, Mission Beach is one of the most popular spots to visit and hang out on the weekends. Between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach next store lies the largest population of beach party goers, surfers, bikers, walkers and of course beautful women.
