The 2007 Woodie calendar would had never been done possible without the kind generosity of many woodie car owners who took the time to
drive their vehicles to the locations we shot along the coast of San Diego and Orange County over the past 12 months. We were flooded with emails of car owners who offered to drive their cars to the beach and even some who could not make it but referred friends and others to make it happen.

We plan to continue to shoot these cars year around and will eventually shoot many more in the coming months for a 2008 calendar and for photo articles in our SoCal Beches Magazine and website www.socalbeachmag.net. In September we had planned to print a classic car calendar but later aftert attending the 2006 Wave Crest Woodie Convention we decided to focus on an all woodie calendar since one had not been done for at least a year or so. It took a little longer to finish than we expected but it is finally done and the feed back has been fantastic.
To our staff and editorial team of covering the beaches of Southern California, nothing captures the Southern California beach culture and lifestyle more than woodies, beaches, surfers and pretty girls.
A special thanks also to the models who took the time to get up very early and make it to the shoots and the surfers who took the time to step in for shots. Also a big thank you to Paul at Heartbreakers Modeling for all the time and expertise helping on photo shoots and setting up a good chunk of the models on this website. A special thanks to Dirke Johnson who has done all the graphics work and assisted and help fund this project in addition to working behind the scenes with reflector screens and helping on shoots. Thanks to his persistance and hard work we have finally been able to get this done and also to Laura Mathisen who has helped behind the scenes organizing the shoots, models and also working as a photo assistant.
