2006 OMBAC Longboard Surf Tournament
September 17th 2006 Pacific Beach
The annual OMBAC Longboard Surf Contest was held to help raise money for local area charities. As in years past this contest only allows longboards made before 1970 to be used during the event.
The waves were perfect and the weather was excellent
for this fun and entertaining surfing event located right along The Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.
This surfing tournament helps raise money for beach driven wheel chairs that can go into the sand and are free to rent for anyone. It is an awesome program and the wheelchairs are available for use during the week at the main lifeguard tower in Mission Beach right on Ventura Place and the boardwalk.

2007 Summer Bikini Bash Swimsuit Contest The Wave House Mission Beach The first annual Summer Bikini Bash was held in Mission Beach at The Wave House with over 40 contestants competing to be one of five girls flown to Mexico for one week. Contestants came from all over San Diego and Southern California. Hosted by Promo Models Inc. of Pacific Beach San Diego, there were plenty of fun and beautiful models enjoying a sunny afternoon along the beach in San Diego.
