I've been home now for almost a week but my heart and thoughts, as usual, are still in San Jose at the Dunn Inn. Again, I thank you and your great staff for the continued hospitality. To Vanessa, my appreciation for her directions to the Central Mercado and always being available to answer my questions. Every person always has a smile and a "hello" which always makes me feel at home. I can't remember the names of your two handymen that work so hard in maintaining the Dunn, but even they always have smiles and a "hello" for me and my friends. And of course there is our little bit crazy friend Marcela! She is a wonderful young lady and I wish her all the best in her studies and in the future. But of course I must tease Marcela a little bit so please, for me, tell her I said, ¡"Acuérdese de no molestar a los turistas de San Diego!"

HOTEL ROOM DESCRIPTIONS:
STANDARD-The least expensive of our rooms offering all of the same amenities above and is furnished with a full size bed.
DELUXE QUEEN - Offering same amenities as above and furnished with a queen size bed.
DELUXE DOUBLE WITH AC- Larger than our Deluxe Queen, this room has two double beds and the comfort of the above amenities.
SUITE-Our Suite consists of two large living areas, a newly remodeled bathroom with jacuzzi tub, air conditioning, premium king size bed, a well stocked bar, two televisions and a sofa bed. An exceptional accommodation for only $75 per night.
An extra bed is available ($15) in any of the above rooms upon request.
The Dunn Inn also has a few designated rooms that can allow pets while still providing the same standard of cleanliness that exists in all of our rooms.
Each room is uniquely named with a native word from one of the indigenous languages in Costa Rica. A plaque inside each room describes the word and usage.

This charming 1929 mansion was renovated in 1989 and is known for providing exceptionally friendly service and is a favorite among many locals.
